Yarn Along…Crocheting and ReadingPosted by Jenny on Aug 14, 2013 in Creating, Family, Visiting | 10 comments
I’m linking up today with Ginny at Small Things for Yarn Along.
I’m making slow progress on the Granny Square blanket for Chris. This was supposed to be completed by his birthday in July, now the goal is our anniversary in September. I would make more progress if I actually sat down to crochet.
I pulled Abandonment to Divine Providence off the bookshelf this morning. I’ve been neglecting my own reading and I miss reading with the ladies over at Suscipio. This might just be the book to get us back on track.
I’ll leave you with a few awesome quotes…
The duties of each moment are the shadows beneath which hides the divine operation.
What treasures of grace lie concealed in these moments filled, apparently, by the most ordinary events.
In reality, sanctity can be reduced to one single practice, fidelity to the duties appointed by God.
